A small thought: if you are going to complain about this page in any way, then please read no further. This is not intended to omit people from my life. If you are offended that you are not included, then you are overly sensitive! Deal! Also, this is not a "ranking" system, so if you're at the bottom, it doesn't mean that I think less of you. Just bear in mind that I am trying to do something nice hear, so please enjoy this and avoid possing me off to the point where i will take the page down again.

Lisa Jakobovits

She gets the top spot, since she is the number one chica! (see, i TOLD YOU THAT YOU WOULD MAKE IT ONTO THIS PAGE!). I met her a while back... the summer before I started at Virginia Tech was when I really got to know her. I always seem to get along with her. She always makes me smile, which tends to be something I look for in people! So be forewarned!

I won't go much into detail about our past, but it is indeed interesting, filled with a rather "unpleasant" experience (although the whole day was awesome, it just ended poorly). But it's all good memories after that. I'm kind of upset that I don't get to spend that much time with her, since we're never on the same schedule, or I'm not around (being the fact that I'm not home for 8-10 months out of the year now). But who knows what the future holds. =)

Sam Amor

Well, she always seems to get the top spot on the list. Despite all the pain, anger, and frustration we cause each other, it all seems to fade away, since we've been such good friends. We met during sophomore year of high school in band. And where our friendship started is yet again a gigantic mystery. But there's no reason to question that. She's the coolest person I have ever met. I don't need to say anymore... she knows all the rest of what I would say. =)

Kevin Gauthier

Roadie extraordinare, and the main man at JMU). I only met him during senior year of high school in Mrs. Wright's AB Calc class... anyway, if there was one thing I could give this guy, it would be a hot chick who is also very smart. Why? Cause he deserves it, that's why!!!

Zach Woodward

He's the red-haired freak who still swims like mad down at the College of William & Mary. He's very much into the bass guitar, some say a little too much for his own good. He was the first person I met when I moved here. I met him in Ms. Sejd's Bio class, and then realized that he also swam for the same team that I had just joined.

Carl Raether

Another swimming maniac, he's also the drummer in a band called Fundamentally Sound, which I also play in. I met him through swimming as well (hey Sam, you wonder why all the girls I dated were swimmers? I met them all first!)... He's down at SMU.

Aven Ford

A true man, because he played trombone with me during sophomore year of high school. He's also the front runner of Fundamentally Sound. Our history is definitely interesting, including such oddities as memorizing the lyrics to "Ice Ice Baby" during band, because the flutes and clarinets sucked ass, so we never played anyway, through the five days in Carl's basement, trying to hash out a demo tape.

Billy Huyler

I couldn't leave out Billy.... the fourth, and definitely most creative member of Fundamentally Sound... I really don't know what to say aobut him, except for the fact that the second "Billie and the Wunderfulltones" is still in my possesion... no... this couldn't be blackmail???

Sarah Jones

She's the one I thought was "the one" for me, until we broke up a week after senior prom. I would be a fool to say I'm not bitter, but it's all in the past. I don't know what it was, but she mystified me for a couple years, and I figured I wouldn't ever have a chance at ever going out on a date with her. Well my time came in March of 1997. By far the happiest of my days since I moved to Virginia were when I was with her.

Beth Tregaskis

My sister tells me that she doesn't even go by the name "Beth" anymore, it's "Liz" now... I always got along with her. Her and I went to the homecoming dance in 1996. I always feel like I can tell her anything. But usually we lose touch, and then try to make it apoint to hang out, which failed EVERY time for a year until a couple weeks after Christmas 1998.. anyway, she rules... she's heading down to William and Mary next fall.

Erin MacMartin

Well, she wanted to get her little spot on here, so here you are damn it! Heheheh.. Not much to say about mah sistah.. she still swims like a freak, but is now in the national rankings. So KUDOS! =) Other tidbit... she "used" to play flute (and for all i know she still may, at certain times...). Anywho...

To Everyone Else

I know I left quite a few people out, and I'm sorry. If you feel like I should put you in here, please e-mail me and let me know. There are SO many other awesome people down here in VA... just had to give some a little bit of praise.

Sheri Rodgers

To most of my friends up in Montreal, she is known as "Polar Bear". I met her in my first year at BHS. We were dating (if you could call it that - this was grade 7), and that's how we got to know each other. Anyway, that ended with a loud screaming and kicking fit in front of about 25 people in the hallway (i won't go into it). We ended up in the same Geography and French classes in grade 9, and as the year moved along, we started talking again. Memories such as the flying "M&M", and Jesse and I playing football with her pencil case are the ones that seem to stick out the most.

Towards the end of the year, she felt she needed help in studying for the final in Geography. Sure, why not? Well, whether she was planning it this way or not, we ended up back together after a couple days. (Side note, i got a 100 on the Geography exam without studying). Anyway, that was the last school year before I moved to Virginia. It was among the best times of my life. I ended up spending the whole summer with her. It ended up being the wake up, go to 12pm swim practice at Beaurepaire, then go home, eat, and bike my ass over to her house.

Moving to the US was rather difficult because of her, and we actually got back together one time I visited. I haven't talked to her in a very long time, and that needs to change.

Jay Storfer

I haven't talked to Jay in FOREVER. Only a few remember his legacy now. I met him on the first day of kindergarden. He lived right around the corner. Anyway, we ended up hanging out all the time (I guess the correct term would be, we would play alot), until he moved away at the end of Grade 4, over to New Market, Ontario (about an hour north of Toronto if you were wondering). I visited him once, and we used to write back and forth. Now I have no clue where he is. Only god knows where his adolescent years led him, or me for that matter. I always remember him being big into Hockey.

Rusticles
(pronounced Rust-ih-kleeze)

Real Name: Rusi kapadia. I ended up meeting Rusi through Jay.. I think. I don't remember. Maybe it was Tim... but this is more than 10 years ago now... YIKES! Anyway, Rusi is the short one. A few things I always think about when I think of him are the friday's after school back at his house, the massive tent in his back yard, the run on Chelsea(which I was never a part of, but heard stories all the time!).

Kebes

Real Name: Kevin Yager, aliases: Kebes, Kebin, Kebin Hunter. He always was (and probably still is) the mega smart one of all my friends up in Montreal. I met him in grade 7. I think it was the week or so that he wasn't in the "enriched" program that I actually met him. He was in my science class. Eventually we started hanging out, and whet Rusi finally made it to school, we all started hanging out, leading to such concepts as "The Wall". Ahhh... what a tradition. I haven't seen him in forever either. He's always out of town when I show up in Montreal. DOH!

Tim Bronstetter

I met him back in elementary school, probably before Rusi. The only thing I can remember that far back is when I invited him to come skiing with my family on my 12th birthday at Sugarbush, in Vermont (i actually found a picture from that). Timmy was always the other women bringer of the group. El Pimp extraordinare.

Al Unterberger

Always the bitter one. I guess he always kept us in check. Him and I were the only ones that really kept in touch after I moved. I mean, for a while everyone did, but him and I kept in touch until about 6 months ago. Al kicks ass... despite what everyone else thinks sometimes... hehehe. Perhaps because Al and I are always on a crusade to upstage everyone... i mean, i don't all the time, but when with him, it's a definite mission.

Marie-Anne Hudson

Wow, I've known her for less than a month, and she's gonna get a huge spot on here. Lucky her! =)

I met her for the first time a couple days after Christmas 1998. I remember when she walked in the room, i was like "Wow!". Anyway, I won't get into it for now, but the other night she asked me what I thought of her (after me having set a trap for myself... doh!)... I still haven't really heard her second reaction yet, but I'm sure it will be good.

Her and I are actually keeping a decent e-mail line going now, which is all good. =) Like the opinions of a few people, it's awesome that she's hanging out with the guys. And in my opinion, she's awesome! I'll leave it at that... =)

The Rest

This isn't a leaving people out thing, but there aren't that many people left that I could write about. I don't know every one else that well, so here's everyone else. Jess Deakin, Colin Campbell, Kevin Casey, Phil Paynter, Tuffy the serenading fool, and Chris Perrin. If I left you out, or you know someone you think I left out, e-mail me.

people elsewhere

Kelly Shannon

I actually met her in Virginia, down at my school, Virginia Tech. She was in my EF group during freshman year, and towards the end of the year, her and I started to talk alot more than we used to. Eventually we started dating. It only lasted about a month and a half because of distance. We made the grand mistake of starting to go out three days before we left school for the summer. She lived in Maryland, but she was starting her Co-op job down in Raleigh, NC, that summer. Anyway, her and I got along real well, and it sucks that the timing was so bad. Anyway, she still is an awesome person. I wish I talked to her more often too.

The Rest

I really don't know who else to put in here. Doh! Anyway, as usual, you know the drill.
